Hayes is a science fiction romance writer.  A native of Lafayette, Louisiana, Chris spent half of her youth reading science fiction and the other half reading romance novels.  When she's not spending every moment of her free time trying to meld her two favorite literary genres into a form that people will want to read, she works as a college health physician.
